Our experience was fantastic, way beyond our expectations. Our guide was very knowledgeable, but most striking was her enthusiasm and passion. Thanks for such a wonderful visit to Old Rome.
I would suggest more precise directions, we did have a hard time finding our meeting point (a newsstand) and our group.

Exceptional knowledge and enthusiasm from local archaeologist. Just two in tour but even if the max of 12 would have been great value for money. Highly recommend.

Our Urban Adventures tour of Rome was one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide was so knowledgeable, especially about the Ancient Rome and the Roman forum, since she is an archeologist, and was able to tell us things that weren't in any of the guidebooks I read.
We did this tour on our first full day in Rome, and there is no way we could have done or seen so much without doing it through Urban Adventures. It gave us a great lay of the land and the confidence to go explore Rome further on our own because we gained an understanding of how far apart sights were. Our guide was also able to explain/show us things that tourists don't normally know about or give more than a passing glance to.
It was especially wonderful that our tour was intimate--just the two of us and our guide--so we got to ask lots of questions, which we couldn't have done in a big group. It would've been a great value for our money anyway, but it was unbelieveable for a private tour!
We absolutely enjoyed our Urban Adventures tour and can't say enough wonderful things about either the tour or our lovely guide!
